Nylon Rounded Gag ropes, with leather buckles and runners, are inserted through the rings on the top and bottom of each snaffle ring.

The buckle on the top of the Gag ropes will be connected to your cheek pieces. Depending on the length of your current cheek pieces you may need to purchase shorter ones to use with a Gag. Gags can be used with two different rein configurations:

One rein can be used with gag bits; a rubber, laced or web rein as your main rein connected to the Gag rope ring.

Two reins can be used with gag bits; a rubber, laced or web rein as your main rein connected to the large bit ring, and a narrower flat leather curb rein connected to the Gag rope ring.
